My favorite design period in fashion.

I have to say that my favorite design period when it comes to fashion would have to be the 50’s. There’s never been a design period quite as timeless as the fifties. From the poodle skirts, fedora hats, and leather jackets the styles were flawless. Even though poodle skirts were popular a tighter skirt was also incorporated during the 1950’s. I’m personally a fan because with my hourglass body theses feminine dresses would work well. There were also blouses that were more fitted in the center to broadcast a smaller waist. If you wanted to be more comfortable you could sport a t-shirt type dress, which is casual but pretty at the same time. Men wore bowling shirts and leather motorcycle jackets. Personally, when I see a man rocking these it catches my attention almost instantly.  Also, men sported casual rolled up pants. To me these are so casual and laid back but there’s something about them that attracts me. Women wore their hair with volume and curls. I love that because “the higher the hair, the closer you are to Heaven” ha-ha. Men wore their hair slicked back often. When it comes to the 50’s the style was impeccable and timeless. No time period compares to it.
